**Title** : Maintenance Electrician
**Pay** : $35 - $40 an hour
**Location** : Chicago
**Shift** : 6:45 PM - 7 AM
Schedule: 12 hour shifts
Week 1 - work M/Tue/Fri/Sat (45.5 hours)
Week 2 - work Sun/Wed/Thurs (36.5 hours)
**Responsibilities**
+ Connect power supply wires to machines and equipment.
+ Connect cables and wires between machines and equipment.
+ Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures.
+ Replace damaged or broken wires and cables.
+ Draw and interpret electrical schematics.
+ Plan the layout of wiring and install wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.
+ Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment including conveyors and programmable controls.
+ Understand microprocessor hardware and software configurations and perform basic analog and digital circuit design.
+ Troubleshoot PLC using basic and ladder logic, and read and write wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
