This position will physically require the incumbent to perform duties standing, walking, overhead reaching, lifting (35 – 40lbs), pushing and pulling totes, and leaning over machines, all equally on a regular basis.

Howmet Aerospace has an opening for a Maintenance Electrical Technician 2nd Shift in our Tucson, AZ location. The Maintenance Electrical Technician is responsible for performing electrical work, maintenance and repair of all production and facility equipment in a manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include the production of banded parts meeting print and specification requirements, the care and maintenance of the equipment, interface with subcontractors in the repair of production and facility equipment. 2nd Shift schedule: Monday - Friday; 2:00PM - 10:30PM
Trade certificate in electrical machine/ facility maintenance and repair, including machining, motor controls. Equivalent experience may be substituted.Familiar with the function and operation of a variety of manufacturing equipment and processes (i.e. heading, rolling, drilling, heat treat, plating, band annealing, assembly and facility support.)Ability to read equipment, component and wiring drawings and schematics.Familiar with Hydraulics and PneumaticsFamiliar with VFD’s, sensors, PLC’s, controls, bus duct and bus ducts boxesAbility to install, troubleshoot, and repair 480V, 240V, 120V, 24VDC, & 5VDCFamiliar with driving a forklift and scissor lift Familiar with MS Office suiteTeam PlayerTakes initiative and follows directions Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trades involved
