Position Summary:
The Electrical and Instrumentation (EI) Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and instrumentation systems to support plant operations. This role requires a strong technical background in electrical and instrumentation systems, with a focus on ensuring the reliability and functionality of equipment. The EI Technician will collaborate with operators, mechanics, and management to deliver high-quality maintenance support while adhering to safety standards and company procedures.

Technical Expertise:
Proficient in troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems to resolve operational issues and restore functionality. Qualified to work on electrical equipment ranging from 24VDC to 13.2 KV. o Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, instrument indexes, and computerized data archives. Skilled in operating specialized computer interfaces for diagnostics and troubleshooting. Computer Skills: Proficient in basic office applications such as MS Office. Ability to learn and work with systems like Maximo CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) with minimal training.Essential Responsibilities:
Participate in ADM safety programs and adhere to all safety standards, including OSHA, NFPA, NEC, and plant-specific procedures. Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns, restoring systems to operational status. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of control systems in both process and utility areas. Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on all equipment and provide feedback on PM schedules and job steps to the Maintenance Planner. Calibrate instruments per SOP requirements. Collaborate with maintenance support and stockroom personnel to ensure proper documentation of parts transactions. Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) teams to identify and resolve equipment failures. Assist with the checkout and startup of new equipment. Communicate equipment details and updates effectively with maintenance, process, and engineering teams. Use Maximo CMMS to track work orders, manage parts inventory, and log time. Make recommendations to supervisors regarding spare parts inventory and assist in standardizing parts between departments. Address maintenance reliability issues involving motors, valves, instruments, controls, controllers, and DCS systems. Work closely with production staff to provide updates on maintenance jobs, including status, repairs, and follow-up reviews. Conduct work activities in an environmentally sound manner, demonstrating a commitment to environmental protection. Possess a hands-on attitude and assist fellow maintenance team members with repairs as needed. Understand and troubleshoot packaging/palletizing equipment controls.Physical and Environmental Requirements:
Must be able to climb stairs, lift objects, sit or stand for extended periods, work at heights, bend, kneel, and be respirator qualified. Ability to work in all environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures and dusty environments. Flexibility to work shifts, overtime, and on-call schedules as required.Preferred Skills and Attributes:
