Maintenance Coordinator

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Maintenance Assistant, you'll keep our patient rooms and all areas of the hospital clean and sanitized. This protects everyone from potential illness or injury due to infectious diseases or other hazards.

Every day, you will perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, or dusting. You will also use specialized equipment and techniques to further sanitize our facility. This role requires you to learn and adhere to proper disposal techniques for biohazard materials, including bodily fluids or sharp objects. You may also refill soap dispensers, paper towel dispensers, and other supplies, as well as deliver clean linens.

Responsible for and coordinates preventative maintenance records for all equipment associated with the Center for Medicare and Medicad Services and Joint Commission standards and other facility requirements.Reports on, develops solutions for, tracks and manages the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and associated software tools and reports as necessary for effective planning and scheduling of maintenance.Develops, analyzes and reports on the Preventative Maintenance work order efficiency and back log to ensure proper monitoring and timely completion of work orders.Maintains a current asset and equipment inventory as well as maintenance records in the computer maintenance management system.Manages parts inventory and purchases repair parts, maintains inventory consistent with budget and functional priority of equipment maintained.Develops and manages parts kitting process for maintenance teams.
