Maintenance Coordinator

The Maintenance Parts and Planning Specialist is responsible for ensuring Work Order request are appropriate with proper understanding of what needs to be done, procuring parts, spare parts management, coordinating and scheduling maintenance activities to ensure that equipment and machinery operate efficiently with minimal downtime.  This a critical role in minimizing production disruptions and optimizing asset life in a manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

1. Schedule and manage preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance.

2. Work Order Management: Generate, assign, and track maintenance work orders in the Emain.

3. RMA Processing and Tracking.

4. Plan and schedule maintenance tasks while minimizing downtime and disruptions to operations.

5. Ensure the availability of necessary tools, spare parts, and materials for maintenance tasks.

6. Work closely with production, engineering, and operations teams to align maintenance activities with business goals.

7. Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services.

8. Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency in maintenance operations.

9. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and performance metrics.

10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field (preferred). 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, reliability, or planning roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. For all jobs no one should lift over 50lbs on their own. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
