Maintenance Assistant/Painter 1ST SHIFT
Job Summary:
The University Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant/Painter to join our facility team. As a valued member of our maintenance staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our buildings, as well as providing painting services to keep our facility looking its best. Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs
• Paint and finish interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail
• Conduct inspections to identify and address potential maintenance issues
• Perform minor repairs and upkeep to prevent breakdowns and maintain the overall condition of the facility
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in maintenance or painting is preferred, but not necessary
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
• Familiarity with general maintenance and repair techniques
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
