Working in a fast paced, ever changing Distribution Warehouse with the leading technologies in warehousing and logistics, our Maintenance Assistants will work alongside a team of apprentice trained engineers, maintaining state of the art systems to ensure a smooth flow through the Warehouse.

 

About the Role:

Work closely with the Maintenance Engineers and Site Maintenance Managers on repairs and  breakdowns. Follow Health & Safety requirements at all times Use the correct PPE provided when carrying out tasks Ensure all equipment is maintained and clear blockages and jams Cleaning of all equipment following approved company methods Carry out routine tasks on ancillary equipment and monitor system performance Complete paperwork and hand to Site Maintenance Engineer.

About You:

Have the ability to prioritise and manage own workload, with excellent organisational and problem solving skills Be a real team player with a proven ability to take ownership for tasks and situations Have a proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels and work flexibly Experience working in an automated warehouse would be an advantage Willingness to follow instructions Computer literate
