**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with expertise in troubleshooting and repairing both mechanical and electrical equipment within our facility. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience working with 480-volt systems and possess a strong understanding of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs). **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot and repair 480-volt electrical systems. + Maintain and repair Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs). + Perform mechanical repairs including changing gearboxes and motors. + Conduct preventive maintenance tasks for 50% of the time. + Execute mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs for all facility equipment. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in troubleshooting 480-volt systems. + Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs). + Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills. + Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting. + Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and schematic interpretation. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + No formal education or certifications required. + Ability to work the second shift (3pm-11:30pm) Tuesday through Saturday. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team of 13 mechanics in a stable and temperature-controlled food manufacturing facility. The environment maintains a comfortable year-round temperature of 68 degrees. Technicians must be comfortable working at heights, such as climbing 80ft silos, and must be able to wear a respirator or SCBA. The dress code includes smocks, hair nets, and beard nets. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of HAZLETON, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
