*Description*
Summary:
The Mailroom Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely handling of incoming and outgoing mail and packages. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that all correspondence and deliveries are processed efficiently, maintaining the flow of communication within the company.
Responsibilities:
* Sort and distribute incoming mail to appropriate departments and personnel ensuring direct delivery.25%
* Handle special mailing requests such as express and certified mail.15%
* Collect outgoing mail and ensure it is properly processed and dispatched.10%
* Receive and log all incoming packages. 10%
* Ensure prompt delivery of packages to the intended recipients. 10%
* Maintain accurate records of all incoming shipments. 5%
* Maintain accurate records of all outgoing shipments. 5%
* Assist with office supply inventory and distribution. 5%
* Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the mail room. 5%
* Provide support for other administrative tasks as needed. 5%
* When required, obtain signature/receipt for critical items. 5%
* Performs other duties as required

Other Information:
* This job operates in a professional office environment. The role may require the handling of heavy packages and occasional overtime during peak periods.
