Mailroom Clerk

**Overview:**
This position is responsible for mailroom support and other clerical duties supporting the Payment Services team.
**Location:** Tacoma, WA
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Receive, sort, and distribute incoming documents that come through mail (e.g. Letters, parcel, US postal, and interdepartmental) to appropriate recipients and departments.
+ Print, validate and prepare documents for mailing.
+ Prepare and process outbound mail including US Postal standard, Priority, and certified mail.
+ Track and maintain mailing counts
+ Clerical/Data Entry
+ Other duties may be assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ 1 years of clerical/mailroom/shipping and receiving preferred.
+ Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Mail/Scanning Equipment, and applications.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills, and attention to detail.
+ Goal oriented self-starter with a strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
+ Demonstrated customer service skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to handle numerous tasks simultaneously and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
**Salary Range:** $17.13 - $20.66 per hour, depending on experience and geographic location.
Please note that actual compensation offered may vary based on local pay requirements, and will meet or exceed state-specific minimum wage or salary thresholds.
