As a Mail Services Associate, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of mailroom operations for a designated building or campus. This role is crucial to ensuring smooth office operations by providing support to client business functions or individual contributors.
ResponsibilitiesAudit delivered items against delivery invoices to ensure accuracy.Approve or reject deliveries following inspections and check for contraband.Ensure all packages received and delivered arrive on the same day, or notify the consignee of the next day's arrival.Transport mail, packages, copy products, and stationery to assigned groups or locations as per the daily schedule.Ensure all shipped packages are protected against damage.Process shipment requests with vendors and inform package owners of arrangements.Apply appropriate postage and identification to outgoing mail and packages.Stock copy rooms and provide initial communication for copier fleet production.Regularly check and replenish all mail and postage supplies.Address common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors, and effectively present information to internal groups.Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems, potentially recommending new techniques.Impact own team and other teams whose work activities are closely related.Suggest improvements to existing processes to enhance team efficiency.Essential SkillsHigh School Diploma or GED with 3-4 years of job-related experience.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Comprehensive understanding of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within the job function.Ability to evaluate and communicate unusual or complex content concisely and logically.In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Advanced organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in mailroom, customer service, and property management.Proficiency in filing and scanning tasks.Work EnvironmentThe position is based in a smaller mailroom environment located onsite. The work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
