Mail Services Associate\n

Position Summary: The Mail Services Associate is responsible for supporting daily mailroom operations, including the receipt, distribution, and processing of mail and packages. This role ensures timely and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing correspondence, maintains supply inventories, and provides reliable service to internal departments.\n

Responsibilities:\n\nReceive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages (letters, parcels, U.S. Postal, and interdepartmental).\nCollect, prepare, and process outgoing mail and courier shipments (e.g., FedEx, UPS) using computer systems or service provider equipment.\nMaintain accurate records and logs of mailroom activities.\nPerform data entry related to mail and shipment tracking.\nMonitor and maintain inventory of mailroom and shipping supplies.\nPick up and deliver supplies to designated locations as needed.\nEnsure proper handling of confidential and sensitive materials.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\n

Qualifications:\n\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nPrior mailroom, shipping, or courier experience (FedEx\/UPS preferred).\nProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).\nStrong communication and organizational skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.\nAbility to operate mail carts, hand carts, and flatbeds.\nMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds.\n\n
