Temp-to-Hire position$23.00 to $26.00 /hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredFirst Shift (Monday through Saturday from 07:00am to 05:30pm)Looking for experienced Manual Lathe OperatorsSet up and operate manual lathes to manufacture or repair metal componentsRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specificationsMeasure and inspect machined parts for accuracyPerform routine maintenance on equipmentCollaborate with team to meet production deadlines and quality standardsHours fluctuate according to oil and gas demandMachinist-Manual Lathe Operator Qualifications:
Proven experience as a machinist, preferably in oil and gasSkilled with manual lathes and other precision machining toolsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprintsKnowledge of metallurgy and machining processesAttention to detail and quality workmanshipGood communication and teamwork skillsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical training/certifications preferredAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor as needed.Comfortable working in a shop environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and metalworking fluids.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
