**Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist**
**Job Description**
This role involves setting up and operating CNC lathe machining centers, specifically working with Mazak and other high-precision turning centers. You will perform precision machining on components used in analytical instrumentation and life sciences, aerospace, defense, medical, and electronics industries. The position requires executing multiple complex setups daily and checking parts using a variety of equipment. The work primarily involves short-run jobs, with materials including aluminum, various stainless steels, engineered plastics, titanium, molybdenum, and Hastelloy.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and operate CNC lathe machining centers, including Mazak and similar equipment.
+ Perform precision machining on components for various industries such as aerospace, defense, medical, and electronics.
+ Execute multiple complex setups daily.
+ Inspect own parts using equipment like micrometers and calipers.
+ Handle short-run jobs primarily consisting of less than 100 parts.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of experience setting up CNC lathes in a short-run environment/job shop.
+ Ability to inspect own parts accurately.
+ Proficiency in reading and comprehending blueprints.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Previous experience with live tooling.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $70000.00/yr.

**Workplace Type**
This is a fully onsite position in Maple Grove,MN.
