**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Operate CNC and manual lathe machines to fully optimize machine usage without compromising product quality. + Perform daily machine maintenance and housekeeping. + Update Job Packs and Oracle after completing processes. + Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work area. + Support Emerson quality standards and adhere to company safety regulations. + Participate in safety, housekeeping, and cost-reduction activities. + Attend to daily manufacturing orders, including rework tasks. + Collaborate and support other machinists to ensure smooth daily production. + Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor. **Who You Are:** + A responsible and detail-oriented machinist who takes pride in quality workmanship. + A team player who collaborates well with others and maintains positive working relationships. + Someone who adapts to change, takes initiative, and upholds strong safety and housekeeping standards. **For This Role, You Will Need:** + Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or Machining. + At least 2 years of experience in CNC/conventional lathe machining with hands-on machine operation. + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. + Ability to use measuring tools (e.g., calipers) and perform minor troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. + Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. + Positive attitude and willingness to support productivity and workplace improvement. + Knowledge of DMG Mori machines. **Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:** + Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. + 5 years of experience in CNC or conventional lathe machining. + Ability to understand EIA and Mazatrol programming languages. + Strong proficiency in written and spoken English. + Advanced skills in preventive maintenance and minor repairs. **Our Culture & Commitment to You:** + At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
