Job Description

We are seeking a motivated individual to learn and operate up to six automated CNC machines used to sharpen carbide saw blades. This position plays a critical role in maintaining quality, productivity, and safety in our manufacturing process.

ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor CNC machines to sharpen carbide saw blades according to print specifications.Inspect blades during and after processing to ensure they meet quality standards.Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, greasing, and replacing cutting wheels.Maintain smooth workflow by ensuring proper material flow through the production area.Accurately complete all required production and quality control documentation.Communicate material shortages to appropriate team members promptly.Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 6S and housekeeping standards.Follow all safety procedures and uphold company policies and ethical standards.Essential SkillsAbility to operate and monitor automated CNC machines.Understanding of general machinery and production processes.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools for quality control.Strong focus on producing high-quality work and inspecting parts to meet specifications.Additional Skills & QualificationsMechanical Aptitude: Strong understanding of general machinery and production processes.Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Measurement Proficiency: Capable of using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.Quick Learner: Ability to quickly understand and retain complex machine setup procedures.Attention to Detail: Committed to producing high-quality work with minimal supervision.Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication with team members and supervisors.Time Management: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.Ethical Conduct: Adheres to company policies and maintains a strong sense of integrity and professionalism.Decision-Making: Uses sound judgment to make decisions related to machine operation and quality control.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $47840.00/yr.
