We are currently seeking a Machinist to join our Boart Longyear team in West Valley, Utah. **Responsibilities** + 2 years heavy duty large product manual machining experience + 2 years’ operating Horizontal Lathe (manual or CNC) + Able to measure parts and do quality checks using inspection tools + Set up and operation of machinery + Read blueprints, job orders, tooling instructions, or standard charts to determine specifications and machining procedures + Use of various tools: turning, facing, grooving, cut-off, boring + Inspecting tooling: micrometers, calipers, dial indicators and templates **Minimum Qualifications** + Have strong math skills + Manual Lathe and Mill experience + CNC Lathes or Mill experience are nice to have but not mandatory + Ability to work with limited supervision + Pass a drug screen + Pass a background check + Have a good driving record + Possess a valid driver’s license + High School diploma, GED or equivalent. **Compensation, Benefits and Perks** Talented people are attracted to companies with long-term success and a supportive workplace culture that encourages work-life balance.
