🚨 MACHINIST – $28/HR – 2ND SHIFT 🚨Job Description

This role involves operating Makino CNC Mills and Jig Grind machines equipped with Fanuc controls. The ideal candidate will have strong setup and measurement skills, and a commitment to precision machining in a high-quality production environment.

ResponsibilitiesSet up and align vices and fixtures for milling operationsUtilize indicators to ensure precision alignment and setupOperate Makino CNC Mills and Jig Grind machines with Fanuc controlsRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructionsMeasure parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision toolsPerform in-process inspections and make necessary adjustmentsMaintain equipment and follow preventive maintenance schedulesEssential SkillsExperience with Makino, Haas, and Mazak milling machinesAbility to hold tight tolerances to the ten-thousandth of an inchProficiency in setting up vices, indicators, and using measuring toolsBlueprint reading and interpretation skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with changeovers and machine setupWhy Work Here?
