This Position reports to:
R&D Team Manager
Key Responsibilities
Set up and use manual lathes and milling machines, surface grinders, saws, and drill press.
Troubleshoot, evaluate, and make repair recommendations for rubber molds.
Review work order, blueprints, specifications, and tooling requirements in preparation for making new molds or performing repairs on existing molds.
Verify in accordance with specifications and blueprints all dimensions, clearances, and tolerances utilizing all types of gauges and precision measuring instruments.
Set up, program, and operate CNC-controlled lathes and milling machines used for mold/part fabrication.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalency.
2+ years of work experience in machine shop environment.
Knowledgeable in the fabrication, processes, and operation of machine shop equipment.
CNC Lathe/Milling experience.
Welding experience is a plus.
Strong in collaborating, capable of both teamwork and working independently.
Strong integrity and ethics as well as a strong sense of accountability.
Candidates must already have a work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the United States.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $51,100 and $94,900 annually.
