**Job Description**
A contract manufacturer specializing in aerospace and defense products is searching for a Production Supervisor with experience in CNC machining. This role is crucial for supporting the Milling and Turning work centers, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Run daily reports, assign work, and coordinate with operators on the scheduling of jobs.
+ Ensure material, tooling, and special equipment are available prior to assigning work.
+ Coordinate related activities with Leadpersons of other departments and shifts.
+ Maintain established quality standards within the department.
+ Monitor work progress and review actual hours against standards for all operations performed at work centers.
+ Ensure company policy is adhered to within the departments.
+ Evaluate employee performance and recommend pay actions within the department.
+ Inform Plant Manager of actions requiring special or immediate attention.
+ Recommend changes to tooling and process deviations to reduce costs or improve workflow.
+ Run or set up machines when schedule allows or when needed.
+ Ensure proper maintenance of equipment within the department.
+ Commit to continuous improvement within the Milling and Turning Departments.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in CNC machining, including lathe and machine setup.
+ Experience with Mazak Lathes and DMG turning machines.
+ Strong understanding of GD&T.
+ Knowledge of Mazatrol programming.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Leadership skills.
+ Blueprint reading.
+ Experience working with tight tolerances.
+ Mathematics experience, particularly with shop math.
+ Proficiency in using measuring tools.
+ Experience with Manual Mills and Lathes.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $72000.00 - $87000.00/yr.
