Machine Set Up Technician
The right candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of plastic injection molding machines in a low-volume, high-mix production environment. Key responsibilities include machine set-up, mold changes, adjustments, and routine maintenance to meet production specifications. The role also involves troubleshooting equipment and process issues, collaborating with engineering and production teams to optimize quality and efficiency, and maintaining strict adherence to safety and compliance standards.

Temp-to-Hire position$19.00 to $30.00 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:30am to 03:00pm)Prepare and set up plastic injection molding machines according to production specifications and requirements. Perform mold changes, including installation, alignment, and connection of molds and auxiliary equipment. Conduct trials and test runs to ensure proper functioning of the machines and molds Identify and resolve technical issues related to equipment, molds, and processes promptly. Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines and molds, including cleaning, lubrication, and inspection. Collaborate with maintenance personnel to address complex machinery repairs and ensure minimal downtime. Maintain accurate records of machine settings, adjustments, and maintenance activitiesMachine Set Up Technician Qualifications:
Must have 2+ years of experience Proficiency in machine set-up, adjustment, and troubleshooting.Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills.Capable of lifting and carrying heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds.Good vision and color perception for inspecting parts and identifying any defects or abnormalities.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
