Spherion is hiring for a 2nd shift Machine Operator in Burgettstown. This is a temp-to-hire position that starts at $19.50-$21.50/hour. The Machine Operator position offers a 3:30p-2a shift with overtime that is always available on Friday. There is a $1500 retention bonus for the right candidate. Training for this position is on first shift which is 5a-3:30p.

As a Machine Operator, you would be setting up, operating and maintaining the custom machining centers to produce high-quality parts. Machine operators ensure the correct pieces are assembled along with using a tablet to enter the data in

Responsibilities:

Entering production data into machinery for producing productsLoading raw materials into machineryPerforming tool changes and making necessary adjustments to machineryAssembling panels while machinery is runningInspecting finished parts to ensure they meet quality standardsIdentifying and troubleshooting quality issues by making proper adjustmentsPerforming routine maintenanceIdentifying and reporting any machine malfunctions to the department supervisorFollowing safety protocols and wearing PPE at all times

Education: No formal education required.

Experience: 12 months

1-3 years of Machine Operation experience

Physical:

Must be able to lift or move at least 50 lbsMust be able to safely climb stairs or ladder
