Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform standard and repetitive machine operating tasks, including drilling holes into the tips of spray guns, grinding, and deburring parts. The role involves operating a variety of shop machinery and handheld tools to complete work orders effectively.

ResponsibilitiesPerform standard and repetitive machine operating tasks such as drilling, grinding, and deburring parts.Operate a variety of shop machinery and handheld tools, including presses, custom tooling, air drivers, and torque wrenches.Read and comprehend simple instructions, assembly aids, and follow written and verbal directions.Perform basic mathematical computations such as adding, subtracting, and dividing using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Perform simple and complex repetitive tasks for long periods of time.Pack and unpack materials and supplies from trucks, containers, and racking/shelving.Listen and be aware of production floor activity to support a safe and hazard-free working environment.Adapt to changes in priorities, work assignments, and interactions that may impact pre-established courses of action.Work extended hours and/or varying shifts as requested to maintain adequate coverage during hours of operation.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsMechanical assemblyBlueprint readingProficiency with power tools and hand toolsExperience with machine operating, grinding, and sandingEffective oral and written communication skillsAbility to perform basic mathematical computationsAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferredPrior work experience required, but no work-related experience necessaryKnowledge of standard methods used to pack and unpack materials and suppliesAbility to work extended hours and/or varying shiftsWhy Work Here?

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
