Volt is immediately hiring Molding- Machine Operators in Dallas, TX!
As a Molding-Machine Operator you will:
Molding, Injection Molding experience Dispensing machines used in the production of polyurethane, neoprene, and/or epoxy connectors and bodies Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle. Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed) Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools. Test operation of machines periodically Fix issues that might occur during the shift. Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws!This is a full-time opportunity. The ideal candidate will have:
Some experience using manual injection molding machines with materials such as Polyurethane, neoprene, epoxy, and EPDM preferred. Must be able to distinguish colors for the wiring sequences of the connectors and possess good vision (corrected vision is acceptable) to perform visual inspection of product quality and to identify defects. Capable of standing for the majority of an 8-hour shift. Ability to lift, carry, push and pull 10-25 pounds on a frequent basis. Ability to assess condition of mold tooling, make recommendations for maintenance/cleaning, and improvements Demonstrated ability to select the correct mold for the shop order requirement Experience to understand and adjust all equipment controls and settings per requirements Knowledge to assess good parts from bad prior to moving to the next operation Must be available to work overtime Monday through Saturday as needed.Pay Rate: $19.00 to $ 21.00
