**Job Title: Machine Operator - Laser** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to set up and operate various types of fabrication machinery, including Press Brakes, Lasers, CNC Mills, PEM, and Plasma Cutters. This role requires proficiency in using computers, CAD programs, basic hand tools, and measurement instruments. The ideal candidate will communicate effectively with production leads to meet demands and follow schedules, inspect production parts for defects and quality standards, and perform routine maintenance on machinery. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate fabrication machinery such as Press Brakes, Lasers, CNC Mills, PEM, and Plasma Cutters. + Utilize computers and CAD programs effectively. + Use basic hand tools and measurement instruments to verify components meet specifications. + Communicate with production leads to ensure demand and schedule adherence. + Inspect production parts for defects and compliance with quality standards. + Perform routine maintenance on machinery. **Essential Skills** + Experience in sheet metal fabrication. + Knowledge of machine tooling, speeds/feeds, tooling setup. + Ability to use basic measurement instruments. + Proficiency in blueprint reading. + Capability to read a tape measure to the 16th inch. + Willingness to train on 1st shift. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Trumpf Laser, punch press, press brake, lathe, and mill. + Troubleshooting skills. + Set up and fabrication expertise. **Why Work Here?** Join a team with a great family culture, located centrally in Charleston.
