Position Summary
The Machine Operator ll role is responsible for i ntermediate machine operation, troubleshooting and changeovers requiring some tools. Read production orders to verify quality standards for quantities and labeling. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, first piece inspection and other quality duties as needed.
Responsibilities:

+ Make machine adjustments as necessary to produce products that meet company specifications.
+
+ Order raw materials.
+
+ Make sure all materials are loaded into the machine in a quick, efficient manner so that downtime is limited.
+
+ Count and record rejected products and scrap material.
+
+ Keep work area clean, free from debris and compliant with 5S markings.
+
+ Clean machine and work area at the end of each shift.
+
+ Ensure that all personnel are following plant safety guidelines.
+
+ Complete production reports.
+
+ Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
+ HS Degree or GED
+ 2-3 years of manufacturing experience (at least 2 years machine operator experience)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
+ Basic computer skills
+ Intermediate troubleshooting skills
+ Ability to communicate in English
+ Must be able to pass a tape measure test
+ Must be able to pass a machine aptitude test
Physical Requirements
+ May be required to lift up to approximately 40 pounds
+ Must be able to stand at work station for a long period of time
+ Must be able to use both hands in a repetitive motion
+ Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes and dust particles
+ Must be able to travel throughout the facility to obtain information needed to perform job functions

Work Schedule
Production Schedule: 12-hour shifts
Shift: 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
Training will take place during the week before team members move to the weekend schedule.
Team members will work (3) 12-hour shifts for 36 hours. They will be paid for 40 provided they have perfect attendance.
