Machine Operator II

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Machine Operator II. The core hours are 6:00am to 2:30pm.  The hourly rate for this position is 22.00 per hour.

What you’ll do: Understand and proficiently operate assigned machines/pressesTroubleshoot various machinery problemsIdentify and tag tubs according to shop ordersQC and document all parts run on machinesRetrieve and enter data into SAP computer systemInventory components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely productionKeep work areas clean and safeOther various duties and responsibilities as may be assignedQualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

No relocation package offered. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the work location to be considered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a manufacturing environmentSix (6) months of experience with forming or bending machinesSix (6) months of experience reading drawings or blueprintsExperience confirming that parts conform to specs using measuring tools.Skills:

Position Criteria:
•    Able to operate machinery and presses safely
•    Able to read, accurately interpret and produce parts from blueprints and shop drawings
•    Able to identify different gauges and types of raw material
•    Able to accurately read tape measure, scales, and calipers
•    Able to work effectively and productively as member of a team with minimal supervision


Physical Requirements:
•    Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift.
•    Able to lift and bend on a continuous basis
•    Able to regularly lift 35 pounds without assistance.
•    Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.


Working Conditions:
•    Exposure to cold/heat weather conditions while shipping doors are open
•    Fast paced working, while maintaining safety priorities
