Smurfit Westrock Bedford Park is looking for Machine Operator’s for 2nd and/or 3rd shift.  This is an excellent opportunity to start your career by gaining on the job skills and experience, while earning a paycheck.  

The Opportunity: Production Team Member

The salary range for this position is $22.55 per hour depending on your role, level, and location. Your actual pay will be based on your work location and other factors, such as your skills, experience, and education.  Responsibilities:

Ability to work safely, comply with all safety rules.Inspect. Identify, and correct quality concerns.Ability to read a tape measure (to 1/16” measurement, do basic math, and some computer skills).Ability to learn and apply job related skills.

 

What You Need to Succeed:

Strong communication and listening skills.Ability to lift, push/pull >heavy lifting; navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend, and kneel for 8 or more hours.Ability to work a standard 8 hour shift up to six days a week with the flexibility of working over-time during the week to cover open positions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
