Machine Operator

Location: Renton, WA

Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday to Thursday, with occasional mandatory overtime on Fridays)

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Machine Operator to join our converting operations team. This role involves learning to operate various types of converting equipment while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesSafely and efficiently operate converting machinery.Apply established quality control procedures to ensure product standards.Execute tasks according to work center responsibilities and order specifications.Read and follow detailed job documentation and specifications.Continuously develop and enhance technical skill sets.Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production goals.Adhere to all company policies and safety protocols.Perform duties across multiple areas of the converting plant as needed.Required QualificationsAbility to read and write in English.Mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn new skills within defined timelines.Comfortable working around heavy equipment in a high-speed environment.Capable of maintaining mental and physical performance under pressure.Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure accurately.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Availability to work overtime when required.Work Environment

This role is based in a large-scale converting facility equipped with advanced machinery, including a 112\" Multiflute Corrugator, 62\" Single Face Laminator, Rotary Die Cutters, Flexo Folder Gluers, and Specialty Folder Gluers. The environment can be hot in summer and cold in winter, and requires adherence to safety standards and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.30 - $24.30/hr.
