Job Title: Mix and Blend Operator

Job Description

Join our team as a Mix and Blend Operator where you will play a crucial role in our production process. This position requires a flexible schedule with back half days every other Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6am to 6:30pm, and front half nights every other Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from 6pm to 6:30am.

Responsibilities

Set-up, operate, and maintain filling machines to ensure smooth production processes.Perform and record quality checks to guarantee shelf-life integrity and package quality.Conduct nominal maintenance on equipment to ensure operational efficiency.Perform and document Clean-In-Place (CIP) procedures and in-process sanitation as needed.Ensure adherence to food safety and quality protocols at all times.Follow all Safety and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations.Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, face shields, hearing protection, safety shoes, gloves, and aprons.

Essential Skills

At least 1 year of experience in a food manufacturing or similar role with the ability to follow a recipe and handle 40lb+ bags of ingredients.Proficiency in machine operation and production processes.Strong attention to detail and computer literacy.Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

Work in a fast-paced food production environment, monitoring the packaging line and product quality. The facility may have strong odors, and you will be required to stand for 12+ hours during shifts. Steel toe boots are mandatory for all production and warehouse positions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50/hr.
