Job Title: Machine OperatorJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator who excels in operating machinery with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain high-quality standards while meeting production quotas.

ResponsibilitiesRead tape measures using 1/16\" and 1/32\" increments.Operate various machinery including Punch, Farming, and CNC machines.Assemble parts and manage the loading and offloading of paint line parts.Utilize small power tools such as drills, electric screwdrivers, and staple guns for assembly tasks.Assist with cleaning, mopping, and organizing work areas.Transport small parts on wheeled carts.Perform basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.Essential Skills1+ years of experience as a machine operator.1+ years of experience in machine setup.Proficiency in reading a tape measure.Experience with punch presses, blueprint reading, and sheet metal production.Skill in quality inspection and the use of hand and power tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma, GED, or 3 months of related experience and/or training.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work the first shift from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential for seasonal overtime. Enjoy a structured work environment with no weekend shifts extending beyond 11:00 AM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Altamont, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.31 - $18.50/hr.
