Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production of certified 100% organic whole food mushroom powder. Your responsibilities will include lifting and handling packages weighing between 20 to 50 pounds, assisting in the bagging process, building boxes, labeling, wrapping, and filling small to medium-sized pouches with mushroom powder. You will also be responsible for filling boxes with labeled and sealed pouches according to work orders, prepping completed boxes for shipment, and performing inspections of products and boxes before shipment. Additionally, you will assist in the paperwork process, tracking counts and orders.
Responsibilities
Assist in the process of bagging certified 100% organic whole food mushroom powder.Build boxes, label, and wrap products.Fill small to medium-sized pouches with mushroom powder.Fill boxes with labeled and sealed pouches following work orders.Prepare completed boxes for shipment.Perform inspection of products and boxes before shipment.Assist in paperwork process, tracking counts and orders.Essential Skills
Experience with GMP.Experience in production line operations.Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.Experience in food production, packaging, and labeling.Ability to cross-train.Good attitude and quick learning.Experience in general production and general labor.Machine operation and packing skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
1 year of production experience preferred.Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vista, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
