Job Description
The Production Associate / Machine Operator is responsible for executing assigned production operations according to standard work procedures, assisting with process setup and changeovers, and verifying product quality at each stage. The role requires accurate recording of production results, maintaining workplace organization, and demonstrating safe work practices. The Production Associate will also contribute improvement ideas and support changes to enhance production processes.
Responsibilities
Complete assigned production operations according to standard work procedures.Assist with process setup and changeover.Verify product quality at each operation and report potential defects.Record accurate production results and complete necessary paperwork and data entry.Demonstrate safe work practices and adhere to safety policies and procedures.Maintain workplace organization and general housekeeping.Care for and maintain production tools and equipment.Support customer requirements by moving between production operations as needed.Contribute improvement ideas and support changes.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Skills
Experience in machine operating, production, and general production.Proficient in inspection and blueprint reading.Ability to read and understand work instructions, engineering drawings, and product specifications.Skilled in using micrometers, calipers, and other measurement devices.Ability to achieve production targets and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with production processes for graphite rupture disks (bursting discs).Knowledge of pressure equipment directives and compliance standards.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment involves a graphite production setting, where some areas may be dirty due to the heat treatment process of discs. The temperature can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter, but break rooms are equipped with air conditioning. The production facility is located in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio, and is dedicated solely to the production of graphite rupture disks.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
