Machine Operator
**Job Title: Multi-Machine Operator** **Job Description** The Multi-Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating equipment for processes such as sawing, broaching, stamping, drilling, and tapping on items that are similar in nature but vary in size. This role involves ensuring the accurate operation of machinery to meet the product specifications. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate production machinery and related equipment. + Read blueprints or job orders to determine product specifications and tooling instructions. + Select, position, and secure tools in the tool holder. + Position and secure workpieces in holding devices or fixtures. + Adjust and set specified feeds, speeds, and depth of cut. + Change holding fixtures, tools, and tool holders as required. + Operate machinery to perform tasks and engage feed. + Adjust speeds and feeds according to operational needs. + Replace dull or broken tooling. + Load and unload parts from machinery. + Direct the flow of coolant or cutting oil during operations. + Maintain quality standards by checking and recording dimensions and specifications. + Notify supervisor of any defective products or processes. **Essential Skills** + Ability to perform full machine setups (3 setups per shift). + Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints. + Mechanical skills with hand and power tools, micrometers, calipers, and other measurement devices. + Experience with metal finishing, grinding, sanding, assembly, and sheet metal work. + Proficiency in saw operation and metal fabrication. + High School Diploma and/or CNC Trade School. **Why Work Here?** This company is experiencing significant growth with a projected 20% increase in sales this year.
