Machine Operator
**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to set up and operate various types of fabrication machinery, including Press Brakes, Lasers, CNC Mills, PEM, and Plasma Cutters. The role requires proficiency in the use of computers, CAD programs, basic hand tools, and measurement instruments to ensure quality production. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate fabrication machinery such as Press Brakes, Lasers, and CNC Mills. + Utilize computers and CAD programs for machine operation. + Communicate with production leads to meet demands and adhere to schedules. + Inspect production parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards. + Perform routine maintenance on machinery. + Troubleshoot and set up machine tooling, speeds/feeds, and tooling setup. + Verify components using basic measurement instruments to ensure they meet precise measurements and blueprint specifications. **Essential Skills** + Experience in sheet metal fabrication. + Knowledge of machine tooling, speeds/feeds, and tooling setup. + Ability to use basic measurement instruments. + Proficiency in laser operation and troubleshooting. + Ability to read blueprints. + Must be able to read a tape measure to the 16th. **Why Work Here?** Join a company with a great family culture situated in a central location in Charleston.
