Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Machine Operators to join our team across the 2nd and 3rd shifts. In this role, you will be instrumental in operating machinery to process wire according to customer specifications. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team, with initial training provided on the 1st shift.

Responsibilities

Operate digital machinery and auxiliary equipment to meet production and quality standards.Load raw materials, feed wire, and remove finished products efficiently.Set up machines for different products and perform quality welds using butt welders.Conduct preventative maintenance and maintain accurate production records using measuring tools.Follow safety procedures, wear required PPE, and ensure a clean, organized work area.Participate in training, meetings, and team activities as needed.Operate a forklift and maintain OSHA-compliant certification.

Essential Skills

Demonstrate mechanical aptitude.Possess at least two years of experience working in an industrial facility with machine or production experience.Capable of pushing, pulling, rolling items, and lifting 70 pounds regularly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Technical school education is a plus.Willingness to learn to read tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.Comfortable using the metric measurement system.Ability to perform simple calculations in your head, with the use of a calculator for more complex mathematics.Experience with machine setup, weld operations, and safety protocols, such as lockout-tagout, is beneficial.

Work Environment

You will be working in a smaller, organized shop with roughly 12-15 employees on the 1st shift and about 3-4 employees on the 2nd shift. We prioritize maintaining a clean and safe work environment, typical of a manufacturing setting. Safety-toed shoes and ear protection are required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $55000.00/yr.
