Machine Operator Shifts: 2nd - 2PM - 10 PM (add OT) 3rd - 10PM - 6AM (add OT) Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator responsible for the setup and operation of high-speed printing press machinery. The role focuses on implementing time-saving practices to minimize downtime and setup times while ensuring high-quality products are delivered to our customers.

Responsibilities

Setup and operate a high-speed printing press machine efficiently.Practice urgency in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.Minimize scrap waste and ensure proper tagging for waste reporting.Collect top and bottom sheets (dunnage) to expedite the converting process.Adhere to lock out/tag out procedures and ensure accurate completion of production paperwork.Mount die boards, assist in machine setup, and maintain machine operation.Read and understand production orders, ensuring quality with basic corrugated terminology.Understand mechanical functionality of machinery and conduct in-depth cleaning as scheduled.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
