Job Description:

Location: Decatur, Georgia

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Machine Operator candidates for a company in the Decatur, GA area. 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift available. These are temp-hire opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Operate the filling line equipment efficiently in order to meet production goals.
Request maintenance support or help from other line operator when encountering a problem.
Assist other line operator in doing line changeovers for the next production run.
Maintain a safe and clean work area.

Monitor the quality of the product to include the following:

Proper cap placement
No paint on bottles
Correct label is applied to the product
Bundle properly sealed and inner pack labels applied
Master cartons completely full (no shortages)
Carton properly sealed and labeled
Make sure production quantities are properly counted
Ensure proper segregation of different items run on the line.
Make sure different items are sorted separately at the end of the line.
Assist other linemen in sterilizing the line and cleaning all equipment on the line

Desired Background/Skills:

High school diploma or GED desired
Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Good attendance is a must in order to be successful.
Standing, walking, kneeling, bending, pushing or pulling is required throughout the entire shift.
Must be willing to work in an environment that may get wet, and may have some exposure to dust, gas and/or fumes.
Must be willing to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays, days off may be split.

1st, 6:45am – 3:15pm
2nd, 2:45pm – 11:15pm
3rd, 10:45pm – 7:15am
