Ecolab, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Swannanoa, NC

Pay Range: $17.00 per hour

Shift: Days 

What's the Job?

Inspect workpieces for defects and measure workpieces to determine accuracy of machine operation. Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunctions, adjusting machines as necessary. Read blueprints or job orders to determine product specifications and tooling instructions. Set up and operate various machines to make metallic and plastic workpieces. Perform minor machine maintenance, such as oiling or cleaning machines, dies, or workpieces.

What's Needed?

High school diploma or GED required. 0-2 years related experience preferred. Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Ability to read blueprints and understand production processes. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
