**Job Summary** **: Operate machinery for making lighting fixtures in a manufacturing environment.** **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** **:** **The ability to use appropriate measuring instruments to the task. • The ability to operate hand tools. • The ability to operate a variety of machines in the factory including sheet metal punching and forming, drilling, tapping, cutting, bending etc. • Strive to meet planned work center times in ERP system. • The ability to interface with other departments to accomplish tasks. • The ability to communicate professionally. • Maintain a clean work area as required. • Working ability to apply all applicable safety requirements to comply with regulatory agencies. • Performs ERP transactions accurately to company policies and procedures.** **Job Knowledge and Skills** **:** **• Minimum two years machine shop experience • High school diploma or equivalent. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics • Familiarity with manufacturing processes. • Ability to read, write and speak English fluently** **Physical Demands** **:** **• Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. • Ability to frequently stand, walk, reach within hands and arm's length, stoop, kneel, and crouch. • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. • Specific vision requirements include close vision.** **Work Environment:** **Will be required to work in manufacturing & warehouse areas.
