Our client, a leading manufacturer in the automotive industry, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the Production Department supporting quality assurance efforts. The ideal candidate will have a high degree of accuracy, dependability, and strong communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Machine Operator
**Location:** Altavista, VA
**Pay Rate:** $12.41/hr
**Shift:** 2nd Shift (3pm - 11pm) with overtime Monday through Saturday
**What's the Job?**
+ Efficiently operate several inspection machines to attain required quality production.
+ Continuously monitor the process to assure good work is being produced.
+ Remove and report defective work from the process.
+ Make minor adjustments to the machines as needed.
+ Maintain accurate records and ensure proper labeling of products.
**What's Needed?**
+ Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
+ Ability to pass background check and drug screening
+ Ability to lift and move boxes, with the capacity to repeatedly lift 35 lbs and maneuver heavier weights with assistance.
+ Self-starter with a strong work ethic and dependability.
+ Effective communication skills with supervision and other shifts.
