Machine Operator
**Our client, a leading manufacturer of architectural wood doors, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team.** As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the door machining team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment—qualities that will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Machine Operator – Door Machining **Location:** Sacramento **Pay Range:** $21.75/hr **Schedule** : 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM (with potential OT up to 2 hours/day) **What’s the Job?** + Operate KVAL and similar high-speed door machining equipment to cut preps on wood doors + Perform machine setup, tooling, and calibration for various door prep operations + Conduct tasks such as beveling, boring, chiseling, drilling, sanding, and de-burring + Maintain clean and safe work area; report defective materials or conditions + Interpret production tags and hardware templates to ensure precise machining **What’s Needed?** + Prior experience with door machining or commercial woodworking (doors, millwork, cabinets) + Ability to read and interpret drawings, order tags, and use measuring tools + Familiarity with CAD drafting and PC skills a plus + Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment + Willingness to work up to 10-hour shifts based on production needs **What’s in it for me?** + Competitive pay at $21.75/hr + Day shift schedule + Opportunity to work with industry-leading equipment and processes + Hands-on experience in a high-demand manufacturing environment + Potential for long-term or temp-to-hire placement If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
