**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to operate a rewinder machine. The role involves setting up the machine, performing change-outs, and ensuring the machine functions smoothly according to work orders. You will be responsible for inserting rolls, checking for quality errors, and palletizing the final product. A strong attention to detail and understanding of the job flow are essential. **Responsibilities** + Operate and set up the rewinder machine according to work orders. + Perform change-outs on the machine and replace parts as needed. + Insert rolls into the rewinder machine and monitor for quality errors. + Ensure the machine runs efficiently and troubleshoot any issues. + Palletize and wrap products once rolls are rewound. + Notify management of any machine malfunctions and assist in problem identification. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of machine operating experience. + Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools. + Ability to read and understand tape measures and blueprints. + Strong attention to detail and experience in a production environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with machine maintenance and repairs is a plus. + Familiarity with overhead crane and forklift operation. + Experience working from layout or work orders. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy comprehensive health care benefits and annual raises. This opening is for 2nd shift (1pm – 9pm) and 3rd shift (9pm – 5am). Training and orientation will occur on the 1st shift. Be prepared to stand for 8 hours a day and lift up to 50lbs. We provide coffee, Gatorade, and freeze pops during the summer. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, Florida. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
