Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator for our metalworking operations. The role involves setting up and operating various machines, hand tools, and pneumatic tools to deburr, slot, drill, and cut aluminum metals. The position offers the opportunity to work across different shifts, with the first shift focusing on deburring and basic machine operation, and the second shift requiring more experience with CNC operations.
ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate machines and tools for metalworking tasks.Deburr, slot, drill, and cut aluminum metals using specified equipment.Clock on and off jobs accurately using an electronic clocking system.Read and understand manufacturing orders.Operate various hand tools, tooling fixtures, and machines, including saws, grinders, drills, drill presses, belt sanders, slotters, and shears.Use and read various types of measuring equipment.Work collaboratively with team members as required.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsExperience in machine operation and general production.Proficiency in using hand tools and deburring techniques.Ability to operate milling machines and CNC mills.Familiarity with calipers and other measuring equipment.Strong punctuality and reliability.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a machine shop environment.Assembly skills and general production knowledge.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
