**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking skilled Machine Operators to manage both extrusion and mixing machines. This position involves setting up and using industrial mixers to create compounds that will be transformed into plastic pellets for various customers. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate industrial mixers according to the 'travelers data form', which is a recipe for the volume and type of ingredients. + Read and interpret forms to select and measure the correct ingredients. + Adjust machine settings as per specifications. + Clean machines between production runs to prevent cross-contamination. + Maintain a clean and safe work environment. + Accurately document tasks and their sequence. + Multitask effectively while paying close attention to detail. + Operate forklifts to move materials. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in machine operating and production processes. + Experience in mixing and extrusion techniques. + Ability to perform general labor tasks, inspection, and quality control. + Understanding of process orders and quality standards. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Steel toe leather boots are required. + Diploma or GED is highly preferred, though applicable experience without these qualifications will be considered. + Valid driver's license for forklift operation. **Why Work Here?** We offer great benefits and opportunities for advancement, including potential pay increases. Employees must be able to lift up to 55 pounds occasionally. The position requires working on the 2nd shift from Monday to Friday (2:20 or 2:40 pm to 10:20 or 10:40 pm) or the 3rd shift from Sunday night to Thursday night (10:20 or 10:40 pm to 6:20 or 6:40 am), with alternating weekend work. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
