**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team and manage extrusion and mixing machines. This role involves setting up and operating industrial mixers to produce compounds that are transformed into plastic pellets for our customers. **Responsibilities** + Utilize 'traveler's data' to track the product from raw materials to finished goods. + Read and interpret forms to correctly set up machines and produce the product as per specifications. + Select and measure the correct ingredients to ensure product accuracy. + Set up and adjust machines according to specifications. + Clean machines between production runs to prevent cross-contamination. + Maintain a clean and safe work environment. + Accurately document tasks and the sequence in which they are performed. + Operate forklift to move materials, requiring a valid driver's license. + Ensure quality and conformance of products including compound size, shape, color, and other specifications. **Essential Skills** + Experience in machine operation, production, mixing, and extrusion. + Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail. + Proficiency in quality control and inspection. + Capability to follow process orders and maintain quality standards. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that offers great benefits, opportunities for advancement, and potential pay increases. The role involves lifting up to 55 pounds occasionally. The position requires working on the 2nd shift from Monday to Friday, 2:20 or 2:40 PM to 10:20 or 10:40 PM, and the 3rd shift from Sunday night through Thursday night, 10:20 or 10:40 PM to 6:20 or 6:40 AM, with every other weekend work. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
