Machine Operator
**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** The role involves supporting the production of pre-cast concrete structures used for sanitation and storm drains. The primary focus will be in the wire department, where you will load metal wires into machines that twist them into forms to reinforce the concrete. During downtime, you will use hand tools to maintain the integrity of the concrete forms, ensuring smoothness and absence of imperfections. Additional general tasks may be assigned throughout the workweek. **Responsibilities** + Assist in the production of pre-cast concrete structures. + Operate machinery to twist metal wires into forms. + Use hand tools to smooth and perfect concrete forms. + Perform general duties as assigned during the workweek. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical inclination, such as working on personal vehicles or assembling furniture. + Ability to read and understand blueprints. + Experience with machine operating and general labor. + Comfortable with tack welding and overhead crane operations. + Proficiency in reading a tape measure. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Six months of previous manufacturing experience preferred. + Experience in landscaping or manual labor positions is a plus. + Strong job longevity is desirable. + Willingness to work in a dirtier environment and float to other areas. + Open to working Saturdays occasionally and 10-15 hours of overtime. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy built-in overtime and the opportunity for cross-training. The facility spans two buildings and a storage yard, with all tasks conducted indoors. Expect a dirty environment that can be chilly in winter and warmer in summer. Safety is prioritized, and steel-toed boots are required. Other personal protective equipment, including vests, safety glasses, hard hats, gloves, and ear plugs, are provided. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stacy, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
