**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** In this production role, candidates will be responsible for operating a punch press in a high-production environment. This role involves repetitive tasks, such as moving sheet metal from a table to the punch press and back to the table. **Responsibilities** + Operate punch press machines in a high-production setting. + Move sheet metal between the table and punch press. + Ensure efficient and accurate machine operation. + Maintain adherence to safety standards and procedures. + Read and interpret blueprints to guide operations. + Utilize inspection tools to ensure quality control. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 6 months experience in machine operating. + Strong attention to detail. + Dedication to safety protocols. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with brake press machines and laser operation. + Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with assembly processes. + Proficiency in using a tape measure. + Experience with inspection tools. **Why Work Here?** This company offers exceptional benefits, including a pair of $300 steel-toed boots for contractors who demonstrate excellent workmanship. The position is first shift, 5:30 am to 4 pm, Monday through Thursday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fridley, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
