Utility modifier must be able to push/pull/lift up to 50 pounds unassisted. Must be able to read and understand the directions for each production assignment and interpret customer orders, to operate production equipment including seam welder and hand held manual and pneumatic tools, read gauges and a variety of precision measuring devices, including complicated drawings and specifications, and to work within the defined safety parameters. Perform preventive maintenance as required. Maintain clean and organized work area. To perform any and all other duties as directed by the supervisor. What You Will Do: + Operate machines in a safe manner per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). + Set up tooling or station based on SOP. + Monitor processes as parts are being produced to ensure quality and accuracy documenting the operations performed. + Verify all operations have been inspected and completed before moving completed parts to next work cell. + Organize and maintain the work area. + Maintain all the machines as instructed by the preventative maintenance documentation. + Perform advanced tasks under minimal supervision. + Assist less experienced team members.
