Job Summary:  

Responsible for the set-up, calibration, and operation of machines in the production process to create a part at the Vidalia, GA location.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the set-up, calibration, and operation of machines in the production process to create a part. Creates part based on blueprints or models on simple machines with limited variability, repetitive in motion Responsible for the daily upkeep of machine (5-S specifically) Responsible in Quality of produced units.

Qualifications and Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED18 years or olderMathematical acumenMust have a minimum of 1-4 years of Assembler l experienceMust be knowledgeable in operating a hydraulic pressCan work on simple machines, can read blueprints and do simple calculations related to programming machinery.The Job will require a successful completion of a training program to include:Safety Equipment and GuardingLock-Out Tag-Out ProceduresStartup and Routine OperationPart ChangeoversDie Changes – internal and externalCrane Operation, Inspection, etcDaily Pres MaintenanceBasic Troubleshooting Techniques

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Perform tasks requiring hand and eye coordination, with good hand dexterity (gripping and pinching repetitively) for more than 2/3’s of work shiftLift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing 10 pounds continuously, 25 pounds repetitively and 50 pounds occasionally.  Lifting or carrying objects over 50 pounds requires a two person lift, or a lift assistBend, twist, squat, kneel, and/or stoop repetitively 6 to 8 hours per dayReach overhead repetitively for more than 2/3’s of work shiftStand continuously for 8 to 10 hours per dayClimb up and down stairs up to 3 hours per dayUse of senses to detect quality defects and unsafe conditionsModerate physical exertion
